After exploring what makes avant-garde graphic design, I found that contemporary design is pushing the boundaries of being constrained to a plane as well as intentionally using ‘default’ strategies within a design.

Fusing type with a three-dimensional object, blending the Y2K movement in design, and purposefully using default secondary elements to create my version of an avant-garde poster.
